The Pied Piper Power Play

If you don't pay your electric bills, you can find yourself in the dark someday. This happened to professor Nimnul, but he needs electricity for his experiments, so where he can get it?

While Dale is pretending to be a hypnotist, a deaf and dumb mouse rushes into RRHQ. After a VERY warm greeting, he uses pantomime to tell the Rangers that all the mice in town have suddenly disappeared. Even Monty is missing! This mouse had been running around town looking for any other mice and Gadget was only mouse he could find. What happened to all the other mice? And why are Gadget and this mouse the only ones that didn't disappear? Clever mouse inventor that Gadget is, she realized that she had been working all day using earplugs, and the Ranger's guest can't hear either, so neither one of them had heard any sounds that day. There must be some kind of sound that the other mice followed after having been hypnotized by it. But if so, they all must be in danger and need help.

The Rescue Rangers set out in search of the mice and soon find Monty's favorite toothpick and tire tracks from a truck, which looks as though it probably kidnapped the mice... but in which way did it go? The team has to split up to follow the tracks, and while the chipmunks argue about who should get to go with Gadget, the pretty mouse pulls out her earplugs and falls under the hypnotic trance, leaving in an unknown direction...
