Even a very small case can grow into a big crime. For
instance, when a little sparrow named Midge doesn't know
the way to Capistrano and asks the Rescue Rangers to help
her, Chip thinks that this case is too small for the team.
After some "persuasion", he decides to help the little
sparrow, and the Ranger Wing sets course for Capistrano.
Suddenly the compass goes crazy, and Gadget has to make
a crash landing. According to the compass they are in
Capistrano, but this place doesn't look like Midge's goal.
The huge statue of a woman with a fork in her hand, and
the large bakery inside it, seems very
odd... To their horror, the Rangers discover that the
baker has been using a giant electromagnet to collect wild
birds which are going to be meat in her meat pies. Maybe
this case isn't as small as Chip thought...
