Gadget decides that the methods used by the Rescue Rangers
for fighting crime are too violent, and persuades the
Rangers to compete to find the kindest and gentlest ways
to punish criminals. During the competition the team sees
a house being robbed. Sadly, their effort to stop the
criminals isn't successful, and the poor family who was
just robbed are completely wiped out, forcing them to
return their newly adopted baby back to the adoption
agency.
Being sympathetic towards the poor couple, the Rangers
follow them to the adoption agency. But wait! Why do the
two woman working in the agency look so familiar? Is it
possible that they are the robbers? Maybe they are just
using this poor baby for their own purposes? Another new
family adopts the baby and the Rescue Rangers decide to
keep an eye on them, (and their house too). But this baby
is very odd... Do real babies shave and carry guns?
After her kinder and gentler approach fails, and the
number of bumps and bruises received from this pint sized
crook becomes too much, Gadget changes her opinion about
the Ranger's methods of fighting crime. Now Chip has to
ask Dale to get some rope, just in case they have to tie
Gadget down, who seems to have blown a gasket...
