If to tell about the Chip how it is written in the
official description "...he is the most organized and pragmatic
chipmunk..." it means to tell nothing about him. Actually Chip
- the real Rescue Ranger. He considers the duty to help everyone
who has got in a trouble. (Chip: "We are Rescue Rangers!
It is our duty..."). The team
implicity considers him a leader, because he is most responsible
and able to instantly orient in any situation. As a result of this
he undertakes the raised obligations (Bugs Life: "Remember,
princess, the first rule of leadership - everything is your fault!").
Chip is brave, he is ready to give his life for the sake of friends,
but always capable to think and act reasonably, taking a maximum
benefit from the current situation.
There is not much known about Chip's past: neither
about parents, nor about relatives. It is only knonw that he with
Dale already for a long time had interest
to investigation of crimes.
Usually Chip is dressed in a dark leather pilot's
coat with a fur collar (by pictures the collar rather made from
an absorbent cotton than from a fur, though) and a hat in Indiana
Jones style.
Chip is big admirer of Sureluck Jones,
a book character. His true love is Gadget,
and she is a reason Chip's frequent quarrels with Dale, but one word from
Gadget can stop it immediately.
